Harold S. Krohn, 98, Waupaca, an Almond native and longtime resident, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, at Crossroads Care Center of Crystal River in Waupaca.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, with Pastor David Guerrero officiating. Interment will be in the Almond Village Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Monday until the service.

Mr. Krohn was born on Oct. 23, 1917, in Almond, a son of the
late Albert and Lydia (Seefeld) Krohn.

He was married to Beverly Ross May 3, 1959. They later divorced.

A lifetime resident of Almond, he worked as a certified
nursing assistant at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.

He raised vegetables on a small hobby farm. Later in life he
took care of his sisters, Lucille and Dorothy.

He was an active member of the Almond Seventh-day Adventist
Church.

Survivors include five children, Jeff Krohn, Edgerton, Brad
(Sheri) Krohn, Milton, Lori (Troy) Vanevenhoven, Combined Locks, Randy Krohn,
Milton, and Brenda (Keith) Kemp, New London; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Albert; and two
sisters, Lucille and Dorothy.
