Lorraine C. Sheehan, age 86, of Plover, was taken to her heavenly home on January 7, 2016.

Lorraine was born August 2, 1929 to the late Raymond and Edna Hast in Denison, IA.

She married Raymond Sheehan on June 23, 1951. He preceded her in death on March of 2010.

Lorraine will be remembered for her inspirational smile that she always wore. In her spare time, she loved baking, decorating cakes, sewing, arts, and crafts. Lorraine also enjoyed volunteering her time to keep children in school. Her sense of humor will be missed, as she was a bit of a jokester at times.

She is survived by her children, Diane Bieringer of Stevens Point, Robert (Christine) Sheehan of Madison, Jeffrey (Cindy) Sheehan of Milwaukee, and Julie (special friend, Joe) Jessmon of King North Carolina; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike), Darlene (Steve), Jessica, and Ryan; 4 great grandchildren, Brandon, Emma, Victoria, and Makyla. Survivors also include her brothers and sisters; brother and sister-in-laws; nieces and nephews; and cousins.

Her family expresses a special “Thank You” to the staff at Whispering Pines Lodge for their caring support and making her feel at home. -In addition to thanking Dr. Rave, Onitilo, and Grajkowski; and the staff at St Michael’s Hospital ER and Intensive Care Units for your thoughtful support.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at St Paul Lutheran Church.
