Robert F. Peplinski

Robert Frank Peplinski, 76, Stevens Point, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at his home while under the care of Ministry Hospice.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at St. Stanislaus Church of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Thomas Linder officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home in Plover from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the Mass.
A memorial will be established for the Hospice Program.

Mr. Peplinski was born April 30, 1939, in Stevens Point, a son
of the late Alvin and Anna (Shanock) Peplinski. He attended local grade schools
and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1957.
He was married to Dorothy M. Klesmith Nov. 25, 1961, at St.
Peter Catholic Church. She died May 22, 2001.
After the marriage, the couple settled in Stevens Point.
He was married to Eileen Makuski April 9, 2005, at St. James
Catholic Church in Amherst.
After the marriage, the couple settled at their present
address.
He worked as a master plumber and journeyman for Soik
Plumbing until his retirement in 2000.
He was a past longtime member of the Monsignor McGinley
Council 1170 Knights of Columbus of Stevens Point and the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen Peplinski, Stevens Point;
one son, Kenneth Peplinski, Plover; one daughter, Lori Ann (James) Olski,
Nekoosa; six stepchildren, Mark (Cindy) Makuski, Fairchild, Robert Makuski and Jim
(Carrie) Makuski, both of Stevens Point, and Davie (Carol) Makuski, Steve
(Lori) Makuski and Susan (Cary) Literski, all of Waupaca; two brothers, Jim
(Gloria) Peplinski and Jerry (Karen) Peplinski, both of Stevens Point; one
sister, Donna (David) Higgins of Plover; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren;
14 stepgrandchildren; and one great-stepgrandchild.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Antoinette
“Toots” Lodzinski.
