Robert F. (Frank) Peplinski, 76, of 4508 Pine Ridge Drive, Stevens Point died early Saturday morning January 23, 2016 at his home while under the care of Ministry Hospice.

Robert was born April 30, 1939 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late Alvin and Anna (Shanock) Peplinski. He attended local grade schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1957.

His marriage to Dorothy M. Klesmith took place on November 25, 1961 at St. Peters Catholic Church. After their marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. Dorothy preceded him in death on May 22, 2001.

Robert then met and married Eileen Makuski on April 9, 2005 at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst. After their marriage the couple settled at their present address. His wife Eileen survives.

Robert worked as a Master Plumber and Journeyman for Soik Plumbing until his retirement in 2000. Robert enjoyed camping up north and fishing. Taking walks, loved traveling and taking short trips to the Casinos.

In lieu of flowers a memorial for Robert will be established for the Hospice Program. Bob was a past longtime member of the Monsignor McGinley Council 1170 Knights of Columbus of Stevens Point and the Moose Lodge. Survivors include his wife Eileen Peplinski of Stevens Point; one son Kenneth Peplinski of Plover and a daughter Lori Ann (James) Olski of Nekoosa. Four Grandchildren; Amanda (Matt) Glover and Samantha (Chris) Lefebvre both of Stevens Point and Nikki (Ryan) Brewer of Plainfield and Cody Olski of Nekoosa and 6 great grandchildren.

Further survived by 6 Step-children; Mark (Cindy) Makuski of Fairchild, Robert Makuski of Stevens Point, Davie (Carol) Makuski and Steve (Lori) Makuski both of Waupaca, Jim (Carrie) Makuski of Stevens Point and Susan (Cary) Literski of Waupaca. Fourteen Step grandchildren and 1 step great great grandchild. Two Brothers Jim (Gloria) Peplinski and Jerry (Karen) Peplinski both of Stevens Point and one sister Donna (David) Higgins of Plover.

Robert was preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy and one sister. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday January 28, 2016 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (St. Stanislaus) in Stevens Point. Rev. Thomas Linder officiating. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home in 2911 Plover Road, Plover, and from 9:30 A.M. Thursday morning at Holy Spirit Catholic Church until the time for mass.
