In December, 42 level 3 to 5 compulsory gymnasts from Russell Gymnastics in Stevens Point competed in the USA Gymnastics (USAG) state meet in Madison. They qualified for the state meet at meets during the competition season, which ran September to November 2015. Following are their state meet standings:

In Level 3, Maddison Erdman (12+) placed fifth in the vault, 10th in bars, 24th in beam, 23rd in floor and 19th in all-around; Ashley Strizel (11A) placed 6th in vault, 16th in bars, 12th in beam, 17th in floor and 15th all-around; Grace Zurawski (11A) placed 16th in vault, 15th in bars, 14th in beam, 21st in floor and 17th all-around.

Breeann Hartle (11A) placed 6th in vault, 20th in bars, 18th in beam, 22nd in floor and 18th all-around; Makayla Much (11B), placed 11th in vault, 11th in bars, sixth in beam, 14th in floor and 9th all-around; Ava Boettcher (11B) placed 19th in vault, 15th in bars, 17th in beam, 15th in floor and 17th all-around; Caley Ulrich (10C) placed fifth in vault, 13th in bars, 20th in beam, ninth in floor and 13th all-around; Claire Sobczak (10C) placed 21st in vault, 22nd in bars, 17th in beam, 21st in floor and 21st all-around.

Harmony Newby (10D) placed 20th in vault, 18th in bars, 11th in beam, 6th in floor and 13th all-around; Sarah Meyers (10D)placed 8th in vault, 20th in bars, 19th in beam, 16th in floor and 17th all-around; Ella Bancker (10D) placed 20th in vault, 13th in bars, 21st in beam, 22nd in floor and 20th all-around; Maya Zeman (9A) placed eighth in vault, 11th in bars, 11th in beam, 13th in floor and 11th in all-around; Tristin Deuel (9B) placed 11th in vault, 15th in bars, 16th in beam, 13th in floor and 15th all-around; Arianna Smith (9C) placed sixth in vault, seventh in bars, fifth in beam, fourth in floor and sixth all-around.

Madeline Much (9C) placed 13th in vault, 14th in bars, 15th in beam, 14th in floor, 15th in all-around; Genevieve Heese (9D) placed seventh in vault, 11th in bars, ninth in beam, eighth in floor and ninth all-around; Chloe Gresl (9F) placed ninth in vault, fifth in bars, ninth in beam, fourth in floor and seventh all-around.

Taiya Lang (8B) placed eighth in vault, 15th in bars, ninth in beam, 15th in floor and 11th all-around; Ella Boettcher (8C) placed ninth in vault, 21st in bars, 17th in beam, 19th in floor and 21st all-around; Olivia Manternach (7B) placed sixth in vault, seventh in bars, 16th in beam, eighth in floor and ninth all-around; and Anneliese Heese (6) placed third in vault, fourth in bars, 10th in beam, ninth in floor and fifth all-around.

In the Level 4 division, Tyla Weidman (12A) placed sixth in vault, 12th in bars, seventh in beam, seventh in floor and seventh all-around; Koreena Roder (12A) placed 13th in vault, second in bars, 10th in beam, 13th in floor and 9th all-around; Kendall Space (12B) placed fifth in vault, 12th in bars, 14th in beam, fifth in floor and 10th all-around; and Abigail Schuerman (11B) placed sixth in vault, 23rd in bars, 20th in beam, 14th in floor and 19th all-around.

Orria Wood (11C) placed third in vault, ninth in bars, ninth in beam, ninth in floor and seventh all-around; Victoria Wilson (10A) placed 14th in vault, 14th in bars, 11th in beam, 14th in floor and 15th in all-around; Lillith Higgins (10B) placed 20th in vault, 18th in bars, 23rd in beam, 20th in floor and 22nd all-around; and Lauren Lemke (9A) placed 17th in vault, eighth in bars, 12th in beam, 13th in floor and 11th all-around.

Carlee Kerchefski (9A) placed 13th in vault, 20th in bars, 21st in beam, 21st in floor and 22nd all-around; Arianna Ostrum (8A) placed sixth in vault, third in bars, third in beam, second in floor and third all-around; Jade Zagrzebski (8A) placed sixth in vault, sixth in bars, ninth in beam, 13th in floor and eighth all-around; Addison Brock (8A) placed ninth in vault, 11th in bars, 20th in beam, 11th in floor and 15th all-around; and Alaena Rice (8B) placed 18th in vault, 21st in bars, 13th in beam, 17th in floor and 19th all-around.

In the Level 5 division, Madelynne Raschka (12B) placed fifth in vault, 16th in bars, 17th in beam, fourth in floor and 15th all-around; Haley Karr (12B) placed 18th in vault, 18th in bars, ninth in beam, 19th in floor and 19th all-around; and Courtney Donahue (11A) placed 10th in vault, 13th in bars, ninth in beam, 13th in floor and 14th all-around.

Tessah Lang (10A) placed 10th in vault, 14th in bars, eighth in beam, 15th in floor and 13th all-around; Josie Dietrich (10B) placed first in vault, fifth in bars, third in beam, first in floor and second all-around; Kelly Gruber (10B) placed third in vault, sixth in bars, seventh in beam, 10th in floor and fifth all-around; Sara Bouchette (10B) placed fourth in vault, seventh in bars, 10th in beam, 12th in floor and seventh all-around; and Giana Bolton (9 & under), placed ninth in vault, 12th in bars, 12th in beam, ninth in floor and 12th all-around.

Russell Gymnastics opened in 2012 and offers a full range of recreational and competitive gymnastics programs, from parent-tot classes through optionals level 10. Classes for boys are also offered.
