Local Soccer Team Runner-Up in Florida Tournament

The RhiPoint U15 3 v 3 soccer team finished as runner-up at a nationwide tournament held at DisneyWorld in Florida.
The ESPN Wide World of Sports Invite-only National 3 v 3 Soccer Tournament saw teams from Georgia, Alabama, Texas. New Jersey and Florida Jan. 16-18.
RhiPoint is affiliated with PCYS (Portage County Youth Soccer). The boys formed the team while playing for PCYS select team Central FC Inspire.
The team qualified for the tournament in August of 2015 during a competition in Wisconsin Dells.
The team includes Evan Hartjes, Matthew Von Oepen, Richey Triplett, Ricky Perez, Jonas Sabani and Jordan Thao.
Assistant coaches are Tony Sabani and Phil Von Oepen. The team’s head coach is Mark Hartjes.
