Loren ‘Jim’ Miller

Loren James “Jim” Miller, 61, Stevens Point, formerly of Coloma, died unexpectedly at his home Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, after suffering a heart attack.
A celebration of life will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at the Shuda Funeral Chapel – Stevens Point.

Mr. Miller was born Feb. 20, 1954, in Monee, Ill., a son of the
late Shelia Steele.
He entered the U.S. Navy and served 10 years. He was
honorably discharged August 9, 1974, in Great Lakes, Ill.
After service, he settled in Coloma.
He worked for more than 20 years at Nelson Muffler in
Wautoma.
He was married to Clara Hess Sept. 26, 1986, in Coloma.
After his retirement, the couple moved to Florida and
returned to Wisconsin this past October, settling in Stevens Point to be near
family.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Clara, Stevens Point; one son,
Elmer (Kitty) Borske, Ripon; two daughters, Tammy (Mike) Weis, Stevens Point,
and Dawn (Mike) Borske, Tennessee; and nine grandchildren.
