Harold J. Rutkowski

Harold J. Rutkowski, 78, Shantytown, died Saturday, Jan. 30,
2016, at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday,
Feb. 12, at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church in Bevent. Burial will be in the
parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
Friday.

Mr. Rutkowski was born July 15, 1937, in Shantytown, a son
of the late Nicholas and Iva (Bentley) Rutkowski.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963 as a private.
He was married to Anna Dulak April 25, 1964, at St. Florian
Catholic Church in Hatley.
He worked at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for
35 years as a maintenance mechanic.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Anna Rutkowski; three
daughters, Renee (Dale) Depeare, Luxemberg, Sherri
(Brian) Onesti, Green Bay, and Asil Donna (Lisa Unkelfer), Weed, Calif.; four sisters,
Pat Beyer, Lorraine (Bea) Tuskowski, Arlene Grunewald and Carol Zick; two
brothers, Irving Rutkowski and Ralph Rutkowski; and three granddaughters.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Chester and
Bryce Rutkowski; two sisters, Marjorie Montgomery and Dorothy Niekomp; and one
grandson.
