Intense Play by SPASH Topples Marshfield

SPASH boys basketball proved again on Friday why it is the No. 1-ranked team in the state.
Besting Marshfield in the team’s home turf 83-54, Panther boys made 17 of 26 shots from the field and 7 of 11 shots from 3-point range in the second half to turn a 10-point halftime. SPASH continued to dominate during the second half.
Trevor Anderson and Jamison Kryshak made back-to-back 3-pointers to spark an 11-0 run over the next four minutes.
Joey Hauser scored 18 points, including a pair of 3-pointers and a three-point play.
Sam Hauser, who finished with a game-high 24 points, hit two baskets, including a 3-pointer, to push the lead to 61-29 with 9:05 remaining.
The Panthers go on to play Onalaska at 7:45 PM at Onalaska High School.
