Chester J. Domaszek
Chester J. Domaszek, 76, Stevens Point, died Wednesday Feb. 3, 2016, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau after a lengthy heart condition.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia, with the Rev. Gregory Michaud officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Pisarski Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, and at the church from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the Mass. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Domaszek was born Dec. 29, 1939, in the town of New Hope,
a son of the late Walter and Mary (Kozelek) Domaszek. He graduated from Rosholt
He was married to Grace Palbrach May 6, 1961, at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church in Polonia.
They lived in Tacoma Washington where he served in the U.S.
Army and the National Guard from 1961 to 1966 as sergeant/head cook.
After military service, he and his wife moved back to
Stevens Point where he was employed at Worzalla Publishing Printing Co. until
He was a lifetime member of the Polish Legion of American
Veterans Post 185 Pope John Paul II in Polonia and a member of the Sacred Heart
Holy Name Society.
In retirement he and his wife spent time with their son
Duane and family at their Wildwood Wildlife Park in Minocqua.
Survivors include his wife, Grace; one son, Duane (Judy
Bella), Minocqua; one daughter, Darlene (Steven) Bahun, Sobieski; one sister,
Delores (Bernard) Brzezinski, Mosinee; three brothers, Conrad (Rita), Stevens
Point, Paul (Nancy), Custer, and Walter Jr. (Teri), Neillsville; three grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren.
