Loren “Jim” Miller, age 61, of Stevens Point, formerly of Coloma, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday morning January 29, 2016 after suffering a heart attack.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Jim’s life from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday February 4, 2016 at the Shuda Funeral Chapel – Stevens Point.

Jim was born February 20, 1954 in Monee, IL, the son of Shelia Steele. Jim entered the United States Navy and served 10 years. He was honorably discharged August 9, 1974 in Great Lakes, IL

After serving his country Jim settled in Coloma. He worked for over 20 years at Nelson Muffler in Wautoma. Jim married Clara Hess on September 26, 1986 in Coloma. After his retirement the couple moved to Florida and returned to Wisconsin this past October, settling in Stevens Point to be near family. Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife Clara, Stevens Point; son: Elmer (Kitty) Borske, Ripon; 2 daughters: Tammy (Mike) Weis, Stevens Point and Dawn (Mike) Borske, TN. 9 grandchildren.
