Annual Winter Jamboree Returns to McDill

Snow sculptures, good food and lumber-jacking will return to McDill Pond on Feb. 6 during the 52nd Annual Winter Jamboree.
The event is hosted each year by the Bill Cook Chapter of the Izaak Walton League, a local conservation group. It’s one of the group’s main fundraising efforts.
A fishing contest and children’s activities will also be included.
The jamboree will be held on Feb. 6 from noon to 4 PM on McDill Pond at the Patch St. entrance.
