Crews remove snow from the walkways and sidewalks surrounding the Stevens Point courthouse and Portage Co. Jail on Wednesday morning.
According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, six inches of snow fell overnight in Stevens Point. Plover saw just under six inches of accumulation.
Plows have been out in force since Tuesday afternoon. Mayor Mike Wiza said plow-drivers have done “a great job” and most city streets have been cleared.
