Carol A. Trzinski
Carol Ann Trzinski, 77, Amherst Junction, died Friday, Feb.
5, 2016, at Bethany Home in Waupaca.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at
St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher, with the Rev. Dan Hackel and
Deacon James Trzinski, presiding.
Visitation will be at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in
Amherst from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, with a rosary at 8 p.m., and at the
church from 9 a.m. Friday until the Mass.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.

Mrs. Trzinski was born March 31, 1938, in Stevens Point, a
daughter of the late Victor and Clara (Fillip) Lepinski. She attended St.
Stephen Catholic Grade School. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in
Stevens Point in 1956.
She was married to David L. Trzinski Oct. 12, 1957, at St.
Stephen Catholic Church in Stevens Point.
She worked at Hardware Mutual (now Sentry Insurance) for
She was the Title 1 educational assistant and kindergarten
assistant for Amherst Elementary School for 27 years. Carol was also active in
the Stevens Point Area Retired Teachers’ Association since 2006.
She taught CCD at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church in Fancher
for 18 years. She had been a member of the Amherst Junction Women’s Club for more
than 50 years. During that time she was a member of the Tomorrow River Tomorrow
and Tomorrow River State Trail organization.
Survivors include her husband, David Trzinski, Amherst Junction;
three children, Patti (Andy) Freund, Fond du Lac, Jane (Jim) Damrau, Waupaca,
and Deacon James (Leigh Ann) Trzinski, Plainfield; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Alfred
(Loretta) Lepinski; and two sisters, Betty (Henry) Yulga and Dorothy (Larry)
