Mary M. Ziolkowski, age 90

Mary M. Ziolkowski, age 90, Stevens Point, died peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on February 5, 2016.
Mary was born June 5, 1925, to Frank and Frances (Gburek) Kubowski. She attended Mill Creek’s Green Meadow School and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1942. She was proud of her early career at Hardware Mutual Insurance. She was married to Victor Ziolkowski on August 29, 1951, at St. Peter’s Church. They celebrated 51 Golden Years, until his in death in 2002.
Mary will be remembered for her kindness and dedication to her family and friends. She loved life and strived to make it better for everyone she met. Mary enjoyed and appreciated all people, and was always available to help those in need.
Possessing deep faith, Mary was a member of St. Peter’s Rosary Society, the Catholic Knights, the Catholic Order of Foresters, the Secular Order of St. Francis and American Legion Auxilary.
Mary is survived by her children, Vic (Mary) Ziolkowski, Austin, TX, and Judy McLaughlin, Stevens Point; six loving grandchildren, Victor & David Ziolkowski, Austin, TX, and Austin, Orion, Sara & Mari, Stevens Point; one sister, Joan Danczyk; life-long friend, Florence Lewandowski; in-laws, Leona, Kathryn, Mary & Ben Ziolkowski; nieces, nephews, and special great-niece, Amanda Rutkowski.
Besides her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by three infant children; and brothers, Ben and Leon.
Visitation will be Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, (Today) from 4-7:00 p.m. in the St. Faustina Room of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Stevens Point, with a combined Rosary at 7 p.m. Additional Visitation and Rosary, led by Secular Order of St. Francis, on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. also in the St. Faustina Room. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. officiated by the Rev. Arul Joseph V. Burial to follow at Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Mary was an instrument of grace, love and hope.
