Grazies Becomes ‘Dementia Friendly’ Business
For the City Times
Staff and management at Grazies Italian Grill recently completed training to become a dementia-friendly business — the first restaurant in Portage Co. to do so.
The designation is part of the Purple Angel Initiative, sponsored by the Portage County Dementia Support Network, helps employees learn the signs of dementia, and gives them a plan to address elderly customers who may be suffering from the disease.
Look for the purple angel symbol at Grazies and other businesses throughout Portage County in 2016.
