Joycelyn A. Jancik

Joycelyn Ann “Joyce” Jancik, 86, a resident of The Lodge at Whispering Pines Assisted Living, Plover, died Friday, Feb. 12, 2016.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, at Wisconsin Memorial Park-Chapel of the Chimes (Main Building) in Brookfield, with the Rev Greg Mandigo officiating. Entombment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
Visitation will be at the chapel from noon Monday until the service.
Memorials may be contributed to the American Lung
Association.

Mrs. Jancik was born April 16, 1929, in Racine, a daughter
of the late Lester and Ann (Johnson) Wald. She graduated from Lincoln High
School in Milwaukee.
She was married to John Jancik in 1951 in Racine.
They settled in Milwaukee before moving to Glendale.
She was a homemaker.
When her husband retired, they moved to Lake Sherwood in the
town of Rome in Wood County.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, John; one daughter,
Judith (Paul) Konichek, Wisconsin Rapids; one son, John A. (Dr. Terri Baker)
Jancik, Parker, Colo.; one sister, Nancy (Ronald) Reichert, Estero, Fla.; four
grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and two great-stepgrandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Lester Wald
Jr.
