Kehring-Behbahaninia Wedding

Dr. Allysa Kehring, granddaughter of a late Stevens Point couple, and Dr. Milad Behbahaninia were married Dec. 12, 2015, in a desert ceremony at sunset below Pinnacle Peak in Scottsdale, Ariz. The guests enjoyed a celebration which blended American and Persian wedding traditions.
Allysa is the daughter of Allan and Kathy Kehring of Scottsdale, Ariz., and granddaughter of the late Leland Jr. “Red” and Virginia Kehring, Stevens Point.
She is a graduate of the University of Arizona – School of Medicine in Tucson, and is a pediatrician at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
The groom is the son of Mitra Dehghanpour of Tempe, Ariz.
He is a graduate of the University of Arizona – School of Medicine in Tucson, and is a surgeon at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz.
The bride’s cousin, Rebecca Marschner, Muskego, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kate Schmitzer, Dr. Sonam Singh, Noura Mustafa and Dr. Gunnhild Albrecht.
The groom’s brother, Hirbod Behbahaninia, served as best man. Groomsmen included Brandon Kehring, brother of the bride; Dr. Jerome Manson; Dr. Logan Koehler; and Zachary Palmese.
A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at Sassi in the foothills of North Scottsdale. A honeymoon trip to South America is planned for 2016. The couple will reside in Phoenix.
