John C. ‘Bubby’ Gipson

John Charles “Bubby” Gipson, 55, Wisconsin Rapids, father of
a Plover woman, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in
Wausau.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at Victory
Christian Outreach Center in Wisconsin Rapids, with Pastor Dave Mickelson officiating.
Visitation will be at the church from noon Saturday until
the services.
Monetary donations may be made to the family.

Mr. Gipson was born April 6, 1960, in Waukegan, Ill., a son
of the late John and Donna Mae (Nelson) Gipson.
He was married to Sandra Ludtke April 29, 2000, in Waushara
County.
He served in the U.S. Army for three years.
He was employed as an over-the-road truck driver for various
companies for more than 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra; his stepfather, Thomas
Howard Sr., Michigan; five children, Ron (Becky) Starkey and Ken (Jamie)
Starkey, both of Wisconsin Rapids, Thomas Howard, Wild Rose, Samuel Gipson,
Wisconsin Rapids, and Lynne Timmerman, Plover; two brothers, Daniel Gipson,
Menomonee Falls, and Patrick (Becky) Gipson, Oshkosh; one sister, Virginia
(Andre) Figueroa, Chicago, Ill.; and 10 grandchildren.
