Help plan the future of the City Times

It’s been a long time since you’ve heard from the editor’s desk. Many of you have noticed — and you’re not shy about lodging your complaints, either.

Over the past 15 months, you’ve watched the City Times blossom from a struggling website to the largest-circulated newspaper in Portage County.

Needless to say, it’s been a bit of a whirlwind for all the parties involved. But now we need your help.

We’re beginning to remodel the look of our weekly print issue; part of that process involves renaming our advertising section. “Steppin’ Out” has been a staple for local shoppers (and advertisers) for many years. But as with all things, the name needs some fresh air.

So, we’re asking our dear readers to name the section by leaving suggestions in the comment section below. All suggestions will be kicked around the City Times/Buyer’s Guide office over the next week or so before we make a final decision.

Whomever submits the winning name will receive a $25 Portage Co. gift card and get their picture in the paper.

So throw out your best ideas in the comment section below. After all, it’s your newspaper — we just work here.
