Mark K. Zblewski

Mark Kevin Zblewski, 56, Gurnee, Ill., a Stevens Point
native, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, at Rainbow Hospice Ark in Park Ridge, Ill.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb.
27, at St. Florian Catholic Church in Hatley, with the Rev. Greg Bohren presiding.
Visitation will be at the church from 8:30 a.m. Saturday
until the Mass.
Memorial donations to his family c/o his wife, Jan Zblewski,
would be appreciated.

Mr. Zblewski was born June 21, 1959, in Stevens Point, a son
of Roman and Dolores (Kurzsewski) Zblewski. He worked on the family farm, milking cows before going to school in the morning, picking rocks,
baling hay, cleaning the barn, feeding the cows and other farm duties. He
played football and baseball at Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School and graduated
in 1977.
His first job was with Gronski Implement in downtown Hatley.
He attended technical schools for welding and truck driving.
He was married to Janice Dallman June 6, 1981.
They lived in South Carolina for five years before moving to
their current home in Gurnee, Ill.
He drove semitrailers for several companies, often cross
country, and most recently for 28 years at Conway Freight.
After a sudden illness, he had surgery on his 56th birthday
and was hospitalized in different hospitals for eight months.
Survivors include his wife, Janice, Gurnee, Ill.; three children,
Zachary and Stephanie, both of Chicago, Ill., and Nicholas, Gurnee, Ill.; his
parents, Roman and Dolores Zblewski, Birnamwood; three brothers, Daryl (Patti)
Zblewski, Eland, Keith (Darci) Zblewski, Rochester, and Dean (Kathy) Zblewski,
Hatley; and one sister, Cheryl (Jon) Giguere, De Pere.
