Marian Walczak, 87, Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Feb. 24,
2016, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.

Per her wishes, there will be no services, but a family
gathering to celebrate her life will be held.

Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society through Higgins Funeral Home
in Wisconsin Rapids assisted with arrangements.

Mrs. Walczak was born Dec. 23, 1928, in Stevens Point, a
daughter of the late Matthew and Rose (Grzywacz) Zaborowski. She attended St.
Peter Grade School and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1947.

She was married to John “Jack” Walczak May 8, 1945, at St.
Peter Church in Stevens Point. He died Feb. 24, 2004.

She worked for several years at Hardware Mutual Insurance
(now Sentry Insurance) but spent most of her working career as a waitress at
the Blue Top Restaurant.

Survivors include one daughter, Jacki (John) Pupols; four
grandsons, Chris (Kamie) Pupols, Eric Pupols, Jake (Melissa) Kelly and Tom
Kelly; one son-in-law, Pat Kelly; and three sisters, Delores, Lee and Bernice.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Lyn Kelly;
one son, Matthew Walczak; three sisters, Jean, Evelyn and Florence; one
brother, Ernie Zaborowski; and one grandson.
