Larry Paulson
Larry Paulson, 61, Stevens Point, died Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at the Palliative Care Unit of Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3, at the Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the funeral chapel from 10 a.m. Thursday until the services.

Mr. Paulson was born April 3, 1954, in Park Falls, a son of the
late Leonard and Lucielle (Mueller) Paulson. As a child his family moved to
Stevens Point, and he was part of the first graduating class at Stevens Point
Area Senior High School in 1972.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
After his honorable discharge, he returned to the area and
attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
He began a career of more than 20 years at the Stevens Point
Post Office and retired due to health reasons in 2009.
He was a member of the Rose Society of Stevens Point and was
involved in gardening, beekeeping, tropical fish and raising chickens. He was
also an active member of the Central Wisconsin Master Chorale and the local
Barbershoppers.
Survivors include his life partner of 28 years, Tony
Bednarczyk, Stevens Point; two siblings, Karen (Allen) Tande, Plover, and Carl
(Linda Suchon) Paulson, Plover; one sister-in-law, Kathy Paulson, Plover; one niece;
three nephews; five grandnephews; and one grandniece.
He was also preceded in death by a best friend, Marc Tepp.
