Marvin R. Aldrich, 78
Marvin R. Aldrich, age 78, of Waukesha, passed away on February 29, 2016 at Virginia Health and Rehab Center in Waukesha.
Marvin was born on September 15, 1937 in Stevens Point the son of Carl and Cecile (Parks) Aldrich. Marvin married Judith Trzebiatowski on April 4, 1959 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving his country during the Korean War.
He was a welder for American Motors and worked at Old World Wisconsin as a security guard until his retirement. Marvin was a past member of the American Legion Post 351 and a lifetime member of AMVETS. His true passions in life were fishing and hunting. Marvin was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Judy of Montello; children, Wayne of Waukesha, Renee (Mike) Anderson of Waukesha, Brian (Kim) of Palmyra, Dawn (Andrew) Whitmore of West Bend, Kimberly Aldrich of Milton, and David (Donna) of Oconomowoc; grandchildren, Samantha, Frank, Sara, Heather, Rachael, Christiana, Reanna, David Jacob, Jayme, Courtney, Cassidy, Adam, and Brett; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Audrey (Fabian) Zukowski of FL and Virginia Hoppa of Wild Rose. Marvin was loved and will be remembered by many other relatives and dear friends.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Jean (Earl), Carl, Lee (Virginia), Mae (Valerian), and Rosemarie.
Funeral Mass for Marvin will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church 136 W. Waukesha Rd. Eagle, WI with Father Michael Savio officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM on Saturday until the time of Mass at the church.
Marvin’s family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the staff at Virginia Health and Rehab Center and Grace Hospice for the exceptional care they gave to Marvin.
