Willard A. Hoewisch

Willard A. Hoewisch, 73, Owen, formerly of the Dale and
Weyauwega areas and father of an Amherst Junction woman, died Friday, March 4,
2016, at The House of Dove Hospice Facility in Marshfield after a long battle
with cancer.
A Christian service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March
11, at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Weyauwega, with the Revs.
Newlin Schafer and Dennis Lemke officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery
in Weyauwega.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until
the service.
A memorial has been established.

Mr. Hoewisch was born March 15, 1942, in Appleton, a son of
the late Martin and Elda (Dodie) Hoewisch. He graduated from New London High
School in 1961.
He farmed in the Dale area for more than 20 years and was employed
most of his life as a factory maintenance worker. He also repaired tractors and
machinery and collected toy tractors.
Survivors include seven children, Dorothy Westphal, Willard
W. Hoewisch, Judy (Heath) Luedtke, Karen (Don) Miller of Amherst Junction,
Nonie Hoewisch, Jesse (Amanda) Hoewisch and Matthew Hoewisch; two sisters,
Marjean (Jerry) Taylor and Bonnie (Dan) Knutzen; 10 grandchildren; and eight
great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two children, Barbara and
Michael; one brother, Marlyn Hoewisch; and one great-granddaughter.
