Charles A. Teske
Charles A. “Chuck” Teske, 76, Poy Sippi, a Stevens Point
native, died Saturday, March 5, 2016, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March
19, at First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi, with Pastor Paul Brinkman
Visitation will follow the service at church.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca assisted with arrangements.

Mr. Teske was born Aug. 29, 1939, in Stevens Point, a son of
the late Archibald and Constance (Matke) Teske.
He enlisted in the U.S. Navy June 13, 1957, in Chicago, Ill.
He was honorably discharged August 26, 1960, in Noffett Field, Calif.
He worked at Waupaca Foundry in machine maintenance until
retiring in 1998.
He was married to Kate Werner Aug. 29, 1993.
He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi, a
lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans Redgranite Chapter 51, Redgranite
AMVETS Post 13 and Poy Sippi Betterment Committee.
Survivors include his wife, Kate Teske; five children,
Timothy (Cyndi) Teske, Theresa Teske, Todd Teske, Ryan (Chris) Burg and Cara (fiancé Ray) Burg; one brother, Robert (Janet) Teske; five
grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was also preceded in death by first wife, Katherine
Riemer; and one sister, Mary Lou.
