Lynn A. Roe Sr.
Lynn Afton Roe Sr., 82, Alma Center, an Amherst Junction
native and father of a Rosholt man, died Monday, March 7, 2016, in the Grand
View Care Center in Blair.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
The Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall assisted with

Mr. Roe was born July 23, 1933, in Amherst Junction, a son
of the late Palmer and Ella (Bestul) Roe.
He was married to Madeline J. Knopp Aug. 26, 1961, in
Waupaca. She preceded him in death.
He farmed in the Wittenberg area for many years prior to
moving to Alma Center.
Survivors include two sons, Lynn V. (Janice) Roe Jr., Alma
Center, and Dale Roe, Rosholt; two daughters, Karalee (Paul) Wensel, Black
River Falls, and Karen (Nathan) Kling, Taylor; one sister, Lorna Wogsland,
Bridge City, Texas; and 10 grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Malcolm Roe; and
one sister, Evelyn Stoltenberg.
