Young Artists Featured at Library, RAC

The month of March is recognized as Youth Art Month to celebrate the value of art and art education two exhibits opened over the weekend featuring Portage County’s young artists.
The Annette and Dale Schuh Riverfront Arts Center played host to the opening of the Emerging Artists Exhibition featuring Portage County art students in grades 7-12. The exhibit runs through March 13 at the RAC.
The RAC is located along the banks of the Wisconsin River at 1200 Crosby Ave.
The Charles M. White Library in downtown Stevens Point will exhibit the works of artists in grades K-12 throughout the month.
Youth Art Month began in 1961.
