Theresa Marie Neuwirth, 93, Stevens Point, died Friday, March
11, 2016, at Sylvan Crossings, where she had been a resident the past year.

A private ceremony will be held for the family per her
wishes.

The Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids assisted with

Mrs. Neuwirth was born Oct. 12, 1922, a daughter of the late
John and Anna Kitowski. She grew up on a farm near Stevens Point with her nine
siblings.

She was married to Christopher Neuwirth Nov. 20, 1943. He
preceded her in death.

They raised five sons in Gary, Ind., before moving to the
Stevens Point area in 1968.

In Stevens Point, she was a caregiver at the Portage County
Home before retiring at age 60 in 1983.

Along with helping her sons run the family restaurant, The
Red Mill, she also worked at Belt’s Soft Serve.

Survivors include four sons, Ronald, Dennis (Maria), and
Chris (Jan) and Jerry (Laurie), both of Stevens Point; nine grandchildren; and
13 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Bruce; and her
nine siblings: Cecilia, Margaret, Agnes, Clara, William, Eddie, John Jr.,
Robert and Clarence.
