March 4

Domestic Abuse: Police arrested a 30-year-old woman for disorderly conduct, and a 22-year-old man for disorderly conduct, domestic abuse and bail- jumping at a home on the 600 block of Johns Dr. at 2:27 AM.

Gas Thief: An employee of Northside BP reported at 9:41 AM, someone drove off with a little over 19 gallons of gas. Value of the theft was $35.77.

Warrant Arrest: A 24-year-old man was arrested on a warrant from a home on the 900 block of Illinois Ave. The man was in possession of a makeshift marijuana pipe, using a metal socket, which contained burnt marijuana.

Assault: A caller reported an assault/robbery on the 1900 block of Prairie St. at 2:05 PM.

Gas Drive-off: A 30-year-old man was cited for driving away from Kwik Trip, 1600 Maria Dr., without paying for $24.22 worth of gas at 6:54 AM.

March 5

Fix Your Muffler, Man: A 20-year-old man was cited by police for disorderly conduct with a vehicle and equipping his motor vehicle with an illegal muffler during a traffic stop near College Ave. and Division St. at 9:09 PM.

March 6

Sign Theft: A 30-year-old man called police at 1:11 AM to report people were entering a vacant house near his Main St. home. The man also reported the theft of a political sign.

Wrong Way Driver: A 23-year-old man was cited to driving the wrong way down Centerpoint Dr. at 1:09 AM.

Theft: A 25-year-old woman reported to police that her jacket, car keys and cell phone were stolen from a bar on the 1300 block of Second St. at 2:13 AM.

March 7

Accidental Choking: Am intoxicated 30-year-old man reported at 12:16 AM that his 54-year-old mother unintentionally choked him on the 900 block of Illinois Ave.

We Don’t Fix Computers: A 24-year-old man called police at 11:44 AM to report he believed his personal computer had a virus.

Fleet Farm Thief: A 21-year-old woman was cited for leaving the store without paying for a $4.59 can of Fusion Camouflage Spray Paint at 1:41 PM.

March 8

Get A Room: Deputies warned two people, a 26-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, for loitering at the corner of Crossroads Dr. and County Trunk HH at 2:33 PM.

Shots Fired: A 43-year-old called police to report her neighbor had fired a rifle behind his Forest Dr. home at 6:24 PM. Police determined the man was practice-shooting and had fired the rifle in a safe direction.

Disorderly Conduct: Police arrested a 40-year-old man for disorderly conduct at 2:03 AM after being called to a home on the 700 block of Johns Dr. for a complaint of loud music.

Arrested: A 24-year-old woman was arrested for misdemeanor bail-jumping after she was caught driving without a valid license at 8:19 PM near I-39 and Hwy. 10.

Stolen Cash: Police were dispatched to a home on the 1300 block of Briggs Court at 6:23 PM after a resident there complained someone had stolen $2,500 in cash.

March 9

Stuck Vehicle: A 51-year-old man called deputies to report his vehicle was stuck in the road due to frost at 5:52 AM.

Home Burglary: Police responded to a home on the 2600 block of Dixon St. at 9:12 AM after a resident reported several items were stolen from the home, including a 39-inch Insignia TV, a Polaroid A7 black tablet, and various electronic equipment from two vehicles on the property. Estimated value of loss is over $300.

Counterfeit Bills: An employee of a business at 111 Division St. reported an unknown woman purchased a pre-paid cell phone using three fake 20 dollar bills at 6:20 PM.

March 10

Your Newspaper Will Be Late: Deputies assisted a 68-year-old man who was delivering newspapers on Highway 34 in Junction City after his car slid into a ditch at 8:29 AM.

Get Off the Field: A caller reported someone driving a Green Ford F-150 was reckless driving, tearing up the turf on the Randolph St. West football field at 7:59 PM.

Trespassing, Vandalism: A homeowner on the 1600 block of Academy Ave. reported at 4:09 PM that someone had damaged the front door to his home. Estimated value of damage is $100.
