H. Kathleen Klonicke, 69

H. Kathleen Klonicke, age 69, died Thursday, March 10, 2016, after a brief stay at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 am Tuesday, March 15 until the time of services that morning. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday at The Pisarski Funeral Home 703 Second St., Stevens Point. Deacon Jim Trzinski will officiate.
Kathleen was born August 22, 1946 in Chicago, Ill, daughter of the late Stanley and Tillie (Lukasavage) Narel.
After moving to Stevens Point, Cathie volunteered at her church and in the community in various capacities; served on the Board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters, taught CCD, was a Girl Scout Leader, foster mom to 19 children, and cared for her parents. Cathie attended Mid-State Technical College earning an AS in Computers and was employed at (First Financial) Associated Bank and at Mid-State Tech as an instructor.
Cathie loved traveling, dancing, crocheting, crafts, gardening, crosswords, genealogy, trivia and reading especially history, mysteries, and biographies. Cathie was also an avid fan of Johnny Cash and Star Trek.
Survivors include her daughter Joyce (Patrick) MacKay, her sister Barbara (Joseph) Murin, and brother-in-law Steve (Ann) Klonicke, many nieces and nephews and her cuddly, faithful rescued dog Kira.
The family would like to thank Ministry-St. Michael’s Hospital staff for their special care given to Cathie.
