Patricia A. Olsen, age 80, of Stevens Point, died March 11, 2016 at home with her loving husband by her side. Over the course of Patty’s illness, family and friends were there to comfort her.

Patty was born September 5, 1935, to the late Irwin & Hildegard (Kostuck) Worzalla in Stevens Point, WI. She grew up there and attended the local schools.

Following school, Patty became employed at St. Michael’s hospital doing various jobs until becoming certified as a Surgical Technician. She retired in 1995 after 39 years of employment.

Patricia married David Olsen on November 25, 1976 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. They were happily married for 39 years.

Patty will be remembered for her generous, caring, and loving personality. She was always putting others first. Her true persona was shown by her involvement in the community following her retirement. She volunteered 6 years at the Lincoln Center with Dr. Thomas DeRoche. She also volunteered her time to various people who needed home care. In her spare time, she enjoyed tending to her flower garden, fishing, camping, and getting together with family.

Patty is survived by her husband, David; sisters, Bonnie (Bill) Wright of Madison, and Yvonne (Dave) Kopperud of Stevens Point; numerous nieces and nephews, & great-nieces and great-nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bob Worzalla & Whitey Worzalla.
