Gary R. Singer

Gary R. Singer, 59, Stevens Point, died Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau after a battle with cancer.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 24, at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher, with the Rev. Dan Hackel officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Pisarski Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, and at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the service. A parish rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family encourages all family members and friends to dress in their Harley clothing in his honor.

Mr. Singer was born March 11, 1957, in Stevens Point, a son of
the late Robert and Georgiann (Shulfer) Singer. He grew up in the town of
Arnott and attended local schools.
He was married to Dori Niewiadomski July 23, 1977, at St.
Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover.
After the marriage the couple settled in the Stevens Point
area.
He worked for Worzalla Publishing and Ortho Molecular
Products. He also was owner and operator of Cutting Edge Vinyl, doing signage
and graphics.
He was a member of H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group).
Survivors include his wife, Dori Singer, Stevens Point; one
son, Kurt (Sara) Singer, Plover; one daughter, Cheri (Joe) Smith, Custer; three
sisters, Darlene (Jerry) Piesik, Bernett (Dan) Ryskoski and Cheryl (Tom) Meyer;
and three grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by an infant brother.
