Allen G. Lanke, 80, Plover, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Care Partners in Plover.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, at Pisarski Community Funeral Home in Plover, with Deacon Vern Linzmeier of St. Bronislava Parish officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Bloomer Saturday, May 21.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the service.

A memorial service will also be held in Milwaukee Saturday, April
16.

Mr. Lanke was born on Aug. 14, 1935, in Prairie du Chien, a
son of the late Lawrence and Helen (Allen) Lanke.

He served in the U.S. Navy from Oct. 22, 1953, until his
honorable discharge Oct. 11, 1957.

He was married to Mary Alice Diederich Oct. 24, 1959, at St.
Ann Catholic Church in Milwaukee. She died Oct. 31, 2015.

He was a self-employed electrical contractor, owning A.
Lanke Electric Inc. in Plover.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Lanke, Plover, and Kevin
Lanke, Los Angeles, Calif.; two daughters, Stephanie (Fabian) Levandoski, West
Allis, and Janice (Kurt) Achterkirch, Greenfield; one brother, Richard Lanke; one
sister, Carol Pillard; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
