Donald D. ‘Rudy’ Rudolph

Donald D. “Rudy” Rudolph, 80, Hatley, brother of a Stevens Point woman, died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at his Pike Lake home.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, March 31, at St. Florian Catholic Church in Hatley, with the Rev. Gregory Bohren officiating. Military rites were conducted by the Bloecher-Johnson American Legion Post 502. Private burial services will be held at a later date at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Mosinee.
Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Thursday until the Mass.

Mr. Rudolph was born April 17, 1935, a son of the late John
and Priscilla (Wood) Rudolph. He grew up on the family farm in Schofield. He
attended D.C. Everest High School and was in the first graduating class.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army.
He was married to Cecilia Kutz Sept. 12, 1959.
He was part of the Rudolph Environmental Center Steering
Committee of the Newman Catholic School Forest.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Cecilia; three
daughters, Dr. Margaret (Gary Knebel) Rudolph, Portage, Judith (Patrick)
Talbot, Cornell, and Jean (Mark) Craigmile, Thief River Falls, Minn.; one son,
John (Annemarie) Rudolph, Wausau; one sister, Patricia (Jerome) Stoltz, Stevens
Point; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Wilke and
Beverly Holup.
