Francis B. Hinker
Francis B. Hinker, 73, Marshfield, father of a Stevens Point
man, died Sunday, March 27, 2016, at North Haven Assisted Living in Stevens
Private memorial services will be held at Rembs Funeral Home,
with the Rev. Jim Logan officiating. Military rites will be conducted at the
funeral home by American Legion Post 54 of Marshfield.

Mr. Hinker was born May 17, 1942, in Greenwood, a son of the
late Sylvester and Barbara (Pink) Hinker. He attended schools in Greenwood.
He entered the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War
from May 11, 1964, until his honorable discharge on May 10, 1966.
After his discharge, he was employed at Marshfield Home Inc.
until he retired.
He was married to Corrine H. Kaiser May 4, 1968, at St.
Joseph Catholic Church in Stratford.
Survivors include wife, Corrine; two children, Adam (Sarah)
Hinker, Stevens Point, and Melody “Dee” Higgins, Peosta, Iowa; one sister,
JoAnn (Lester) Kaiser, Hewitt; four brothers, Gene (Marilyn) Hinker, Loyal,
Ronald (Audrey) Hinker, Wausau, and Allen (Sandra) Hinker and Robert (Donna)
Hinker, both of Greenwood; and five grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Larry,
Jerry, Jim and William Hinker.
