Failure to Yield: A 36-year-old man was cited for failing to yield when making a left turn near the intersection of Old Hwy. 18 and Hwy. 10 at 9:04 AM.
They’re Watching Me: A 36-year-old man called police at 4:44 PM to report people had been monitoring him via electronic devices and trespassing in his apartment.

Underage Party: An employee of a hotel on the 100 block of Division St. North called police at 12:25 AM to report a party with parents and minors had led to damage of an exterior porch. One 18-year-old man was cited for underage drinking. Among the items damaged were an exterior screened-in porch with a metal roof and a wooden glider bench. Police seized 12 oz. cans of Red Dog beer.
Bike Theft: Police were called to the YMCA when a 42-year-old man reported someone stole his bike at 1 PM. The fat tire mountain bike’s value is estimated at $1,400.
Stolen Rocks: A 37-year-old woman called police to report someone had stolen $10 worth of rocks from a business on the 1000 block of Main Street at 5 PM.

Suspicious Entry: A 28-year-old man called police to report he returned home to find the back door to his Torun Rd. residence was ajar and a handgun inside the residence had been moved at 2:38 AM.
Marijuana Smokers: A caller from the 1600 block of Briggs requested a K9 unit to search for drugs at 8:21 AM. K9 Lady indicated a drug presence on a mattress inside a room that used to belong to a tenant who was kicked out for smoking marijuana. Nothing was located at the home.
Pot Bust: Deputies cited an 18-year-old man for possession of drug paraphernalia and less than 5 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop near Hwy. 54 and Oak Dr. in Amherst at 2:50 PM.
Fleet Farm Thief: A 30-year-old man was cited for retail theft after witnesses observed the man steal a pair of men’s Gen Flex Lace to Toe boots, valued at $144.99.
Argument at Edgewater: Police were called to Edgewater Manor, 1450 Water St., to intervene when two residents there become involved in a “heated argument” at 1:38 PM. Police were called back again at 8:20 PM to deal with the same residents.
Daddy Wasn’t Invited: Police arrested a 26-year-old man on charges of domestic abuse and disorderly conduct when he disrupted his child’s birthday party on Amber Ave. at 6:32 PM.
Missing Girl: A 14-year-old girl who has been missing from Wood Co. was located having pizza with two of her friends at a business on the 900 block of Main St. at 10:02 PM.
You Can’t Smoke Pot on Main St.: A 24-year-old man was cited for smoking marijuana on the 900 block of Main St. at 10:10 PM. Police seized a glass pipe and metal container, both containing THC.
Near-Cat Fight: Police intervened when two women, 28 and 31, confronted each other in front of a tavern on the 900 block of Main St. at 1:07 AM.

Parkin’ After Dark: Deputies warned a 23-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man who were parked in a county park at 1:07 AM.
Verbal Disturbance: Deputies were called to a home on the 1500 block of Torun Rd. at 12:18 PM after two men, 28 and 26, were heard arguing loudly by a 53-year-old woman.
Noise Complaint: A 56-year-old woman called deputies to report the sound of either gunshots or fireworks on the Gloria Dr./Elm. St. area at 1:58 PM. Deputies could not locate the source of the noise.
Domestic Abuse: Police arrested a 41-year-old man on charges of domestic abuse, disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and probation violation after an incident against a 28-year-old woman on the 1100 block of Park St. at 2:35 AM.
Domestic Abuse: A 34-year-old man was arrested following an incident against a 32-year-old woman on the 100 block of Division St. North at 3:09 AM.
Low-Down Shame: A 29-year-old man reported someone had stolen a double jogging stroller from a garage on the 2100 block of Main St. at 8 AM. The value of the stroller is estimated at $500.
Mailbox Fatality: A 46-year-old man called police to report someone damaged the mailbox, valued at about $50, at his Rice St. home at 10 PM.
