Boys Scouts to ‘Scout’ for Food Starting April 9

City Times Staff
Local cub scouts and boy scouts will begin their annual Scouting for Food on April 9.
Scouts will be placing plastic bags at homes across the community. Residents are asked to fill the bag with donations of non-perishable food, or household or personal care items and leave the bag in the same area where the bag was dropped off.
Scouts will return to collect the bags early before 9 AM on Sat., April 16. The donations will then be dropped off at various charity organizations, to include the Salvation Army, A Place of Peace, Interfaith Food Pantry, Operation Bootstrap and the Emergency Food Assistance Program for local distribution.
