MaryAnn Hoffman, 87, formerly of Stevens Point, died Monday, April 4, 2016, at Whispering Pines Assisted Living in Plover where she has been residing the past four years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 7, at St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Rev. Arul Joseph Visuvasam officiating. Burial will be at Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.

Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9 a.m. Thursday until the Mass, with a rosary led by the St. Peter’s Ladies Rosary Society prayed at 10 a.m.

Shuda Funeral Services in Stevens Point and Plover assisted
with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.shudafuneral.com.

Mrs. Hoffman was born Dec. 29, 1928, in Stevens Point, a daughter
of the late Fred and Elizabeth (Pogorzelski) Stachowiak. She graduated from St.
Peter School and P.J. Jacobs High School.

She was married to David J. Hoffman Feb. 26, 1949, at St.
Peter Catholic Church. He died Jan. 27, 2006.

The couple settled in Stevens Point and raised their family.

She worked as a clerk for Gwidt’s Drug Store, Osco Drug and
Spurgeon’s before retirement.

She was a longtime member of St. Peter’s Rosary Society.

Survivors include three children, Edward (Mary) Hoffman,
Phoenix, Ariz., Patty (Tom) Orlikowski, Stevens Point, and Diane Millsap, Fort
Worth, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one son-in-law, Jim
Kenowski, Amherst.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Judy Kenowski;
two brothers; and three sisters, Irene Scasny, Eve Bemowski and Helen Mrozinski.
