Marcella B. Groskinsky
Marcella Bernice Groskinsky, 85, Marshfield, who formerly
worked in Junction City, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Atrium Post-Acute
Care of Marshfield, where she resided.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 11,
at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield, with Pastor Eric Hambrock officiating.
Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Monday
until the services.

Mrs. Groskinsky was born Nov. 17, 1930, in Harvard, Ill., a
daughter of the late Herman and Mabel (Erckfritz) Renner.
She was married to Edward August Groskinsky June 25, 1955,
at Trinity Lutheran Church in Harvard, Ill. He died Aug. 5, 1994.
She became involved with the Women’s Lutheran Church
Auxiliary in Auburndale, in which she was active for many years.
She cooked and waitressed at the Western Café in Junction
City before opening her own licensed Day Care Center which she continued until
her husband’s death.
Survivors include three children, Robert Groskinsky Sr.,
Marshfield, Linda (Daniel) Beranek, Milladore, and Betty Malthe, Hancock; two
brothers, Herbert (Beverly) Renner, Janesville, and Kenneth (Gladys) Renner,
Woodstock, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Edith Marvin; and
one brother, Arthur Erckfritz.
