Francis ‘Frank’ Sigman

Francis “Frank” Sigman, 73, died Thursday, April 7, 2016, at his home while under the care of Ministry Hospice.

Visitation will be at the Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, with a memorial service with military honors at 7 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date at the Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in King.

Donations may be made to Ministry Cancer Center at Stevens
Point or Ministry Hospice.

Mr. Sigman was born Nov. 25, 1942, in Stevens Point, a son
of the late Joseph and Sophie (Koziczkowski) Sigman. He graduated from Pacelli
High School in 1960.

He entered the U.S. Marine Corps in November 1961. He served
as a private and earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Armed Forces
Expeditionary Medal (Cuba). He was honorably discharged in August 1964.

After one year with the Central Intelligence Agency in
Washington, D.C., he returned to Stevens Point and began a 39-year career with
the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 2004.

He was married to Susan Klepps Aug. 26, 1977, in Illinois.

Survivors include his wife, Susan; five sons, Lee
(Christine) Sigman, Algonquin, Ill., Eric (Theresa) Sigman, Stevens Point,
Timothy (Shelene) Klepps, Polonia, Thomas (Michelle) Klepps, Junction City, and
Bryan Sigman Webb, Palm Springs, Calif.; two sisters, Loretta (Russell) Funk,
New Berlin, and Rose Ann Sigman, Easton, Md., 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Ramona.
