Despite weather more suited to the indoor sports, SPASH softball and Pacelli baseball opened their seasons on Tuesday, April 5th braving the cold, wind and snow offered up by Mother Nature.

Aubrey Drohner wasn’t about to let a little blustery weather get in her way as she struck seven Wausau East Lumberjacks and the Panthers pounded out 15 hits on their way to a 24-0 win.

Looking for much improved weather conditions this next week, Pacelli and SPASH have a full slate of events on the schedule.

Pacelli Sports Calendar April 11-16

Monday, April 11
Boys Varsity Golf travels to Manawa for a 12:00 pm meet
Varsity Track travels to Tri-County High School for a 3:45 meet
Varsity Baseball will take the field at Bukolt Park hosting Wittenberg-Birnamwood at 4:30 pm
St. Peter Middle School Softball travels to Iola-Scandinavia for a 4:30 pm game
Junior Varsity Softball is on the road at Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School at 4:30 pm
Varsity Softball will host Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School at the Plover Woyak Park complex on Spud Field. First pitch scheduled for 4:30 pm

Tuesday, April 12
St. Peter Middle School Baseball will host Port Edwards at the Little Plover River Park at 4:00 pm
Junior Varsity Baseball hosts Rosholt on Plover’s Memorial Field on Roosevelt Dr.at 4:30 pm

St. Peter Middle School boys Tennis team will host Antigo Middle School at the Ben Franklin Jr. High School courts at 4:15 pm
Varsity Baseball travels to Bonduel with first pitch scheduled at 4:30 pm
Varsity Softball travels to Bonduel for a 4:30 pm game
Junior Varsity Softball will host Bonduel at Plover Woyak Park complex on Spud Field at 4:30 pm

Friday, April 15
Varsity track visits Rosholt High School for a 3:45 pm meet
Junior Varsity baseball hosts Amherst at Plover’s Memorial Park on Roosevelt Dr. at 4:30 pm
Junior Varsity softball hosts Amherst at Woyak Park Complex on Spud Field in Plover at 4:30 pm

Saturday, April 16
Boys Varsity Tennis travels to Eau Claire Regis High School for a tournament to start at 9:00 am
Varsity Softball travels to Laconia High School for a double header. First pitch scheduled for 10:00 am
Varsity Baseball plays a double header with LaCrosse Aquinas High school at LaCrosse’s Holy Cross field. Game time is 11:00 am.
