Emmet E. Schulz
Emmet E. Schulz, 91, Delavan, formerly of Stoughton, father of a Stevens Point woman, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016, after a short illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Hope Lutheran Church in McFarland, with the Rev. Chris Lee-Thompson presiding. Burial will be at Hope Cottage Grove Cemetery in Cottage Grove.
Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the services.
Gunderson Funeral Home in Monona assisted with arrangements.

Mr. Schulz was born Aug. 26, 1924, in Hillpoint.
He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Japan
following World War II.
He was married to Betty Jean Fry May 10, 1947, in Hillpoint.
He retired from Chase Lumber in DeForest.
He was a member of the Baraboo Steam and Gas Engine Club.
Emmet was a former member of Hope Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Betty, Delavan; two
children, Dennis (Evelyn), Delavan, and Dawn (Michael) Alff of Stevens Point; one
sister, Marion Gudenschwager; three grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
