Plover VFW Cleans Up Hoover Avenue

Members of Plover Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 10262 got an early start on an Earth Day community service project with their semiannual spring cleanup of Hoover Avenue on Saturday, April 16.
The “Cleanup Brigade” divided into teams of two or three and spent the morning collecting trash and litter along Hoover Avenue between highways B and HH.
To date for 2016, Plover VFW and Auxiliary have contributed a combined total of 9,499 volunteer community service hours for a variety of area projects and activities.
Earth Day 2016 is on April 22.
