Public Invited to Discuss Downtown, Underage Drinking and Division St. Corridor

ReVisioning Point is holding its third public session designed to exchange ideas on strategies to enhance the livability, appearance and long-term economy of Stevens Point.
The city council has also been invited to the public session, and a quorum may attend.
Revisioning Point is a grassroots organization which describes itself as one that works on “improving the city’s sustainability and appeal”. The group previously proposed installing new bike hitches in the Downtown District, which moved swiftly through the city council last May.
The topics for this session include something called “Division Street 2.0”, which the group described as a “look at the economic value of a road diet”, along with underage drinking and the city’s downtown.
The public session will be held on Thur., April 28 at 6 PM in the Church of the Intercession parish hall, located at 1417 Church Street.
