Volunteers Needed at 2016 Portage County Cultural Festival

The Portage County Cultural Festival is being held on Saturday, May 7.
To make the Cultural Festival a reality each year, hundreds of volunteers are needed to transform the high school into an international party, inviting thousands of people to learn more about the cultures that comprise Portage County.
The festival is in need of volunteers to make the event happen. Volunteer opportunities are available to help with set-up on Friday, May 6 from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, May 7 from 6:30 AM to 5 PM for children’s crafts, in the kitchen, for festival security and hospitality.
Help is also needed on Saturday between 5 PM and 7 PM for take down and clean up.
The Portage County Cultural Festival is a one-day event designed to celebrate ethnic diversity in Portage County, Wisconsin. The event attracts about 10,000 people annually to enjoy food, music, folk dances, native crafts and children’s games from around the world.
