Janet J. Peplinski, 78, Custer, died Saturday, April 23, 2016, at her home after a battle with cancer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Church in Custer, with the Rev. Daniel Hackel officiating.

Visitation will be at the Shuda Funeral Chapel – Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, with a general rosary be prayed at 7p.m., and at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Mrs. Peplinski was born Feb. 23, 1938, in the town of Dewey,
a daughter of the late Steven and Regina (Adamski) Blaskowski. She graduated
from St. Joseph Academy in Stevens Point in 1957.

She was married to August Peplinski May 17, 1958, at St.
Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point.

After their retirement, they spent 14 winters traveling and
camping in Texas and Arizona.

She was a member of St. Mary Immaculate Conception Parish
and the St. Mary’s Altar Society.

Survivors include her husband, August; five children, Cindy
(Rick) Henke, Amherst Junction, Dennis (Debbie) Peplinski, Birnamwood, Jeffery
(Chris) Peplinski, Eland, Diane (Russell) Wysocki, Custer, and Lyle (Donna)
Peplinski, Black River Falls; one sister, Harriet Coates; 12 grandchildren; one
stepgrandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald
Blaskowski; and one sister, Eleanor Karch.
