Evelyn C. Stanczyk, 95, Plover, a Stevens Point native, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Whispering Pines assisted living in Plover. She had resided there for the past five years.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, at St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Rev. Arul Joseph Visavasam officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the Mass, with the St. Peter Rosary Society praying a rosary at 9:30 a.m.

A memorial in her name will be established at a later date.

Pisarski Funeral Homes in Stevens Point and Plover assisted
with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.

Mrs. Stanczyk was born Dec. 12, 1920, in Stevens Point, a daughter
of the late John and Helen (Pleet) Ludwikoski.

She was married to Stephen Stanczyk Oct. 19, 1946, at St.
Peter Catholic Church. He died Jan. 11, 1980.

She was a fly tier for many years in her home, working for
Marathon Bait and Weber Tackle. She also was employed for Sentry Insurance
until her retirement.

She was a lifetime member of the St. Peter Rosary Society,
Rose 16. She also was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

Survivors include two daughters, Geralyn (David) Spreda,
Port Charlotte, Fla., and Sharon (Terry) Domaszek, Amherst Junction; four
grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two nieces.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Arnold Ludd.
