Central Wisconsin Jazz Ensemble in Concert with Typhanie Monique

The Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra presents the Central Wisconsin Jazz Ensemble with vocalist Typhanie Monique on Wednesday, May 25 at 7:30 PM in the Theater @1800 located in the Sentry Insurance Complex.
This fundraiser for the CWSO will also offer complimentary hors d’oeuvres as well as a cash bar beginning at 6:45 PM in the Theater lobby.
Typhanie Monique, a Stevens Point native, is now at the forefront of Chicago’s jazz scene, and has been praised for her style of “Soul Infused Jazz.” She has also taken the mainstage at the Stevens Point Riverfront Jazz Festival on several occasions.
The CWJE, a 16-member big band managed by the CWSO, comprises the best professional jazz musicians of the area, and presents performances of contemporary big band music, including Count Basie, Thad Jones, John Clayton, Bob Mintzer as well as original compositions.
Tickets are on sale now at the CWSO office located at 800 Main Street, Stevens Point (inside the Smith Scarabocchio Art Museum).
Tickets are also available on-line at cwso.org/tickets. Admission prices are $35 for adults, $20 with a student I.D.
The CWSO is affiliated with the College of Fine Arts and Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Stevens Point.
