Evelyn Jablonski, 94, a longtime resident of Stevens Point, Wausau died Saturday, May 7, 2016, at the Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, at St. Stanislaus Church of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish, with the Rev. Thomas Lindner officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.

A memorial will be established in her name for Holy Spirit
Parish.

Mrs. Jablonski was born Dec. 22, 1921, on the family farm in
Polonia, the sixth child of the late August and Martha (Kedrowicz) Rozek.

She was married to Clem Jablonski May 24, 1941, at Sacred
Heart Church in Polonia. He died Jan. 30, 2009.

They settled in Stevens Point.

She worked as a unit secretary at St. Michael’s Hospital and
in retirement she worked as a volunteer providing ministry services and often
caring for elderly family members and others.

She and her husband were members of St. Stanislaus Parish
for nearly seven decades and she was a member of the Holy Spirit Rosary
Society.

Following her husband’s death, she remained in Stevens
Point home until 2012, when she moved to Wausau to be closer to her daughter,
Mary.

Survivors include five children, James (Janet) Jablonski,
River Falls, Wayne (Denise), Fountain Hills, Ariz., Mary (Dennis) Prill,
Wausau, Frank (Mary), Madison, and Anne (Bob) Otto, Arlington, Va.; three sisters,
Emily Jerzak and Ramona Weisbrod, both of Stevens Point, and Theresa Rozek,
Oshkosh; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest,
Fabian and Henry Rozek; and one sister, Loretta Freda
.
